Top 5 Insights from InterACT! Day 2

Another informative day at the InterACT! conference in Chicago.  In addition to learning more about the value of TransPromo, I gained new insight on cross-media direct marketing, customer centric marketing, data analytics, and more.  Here are my top 5 insights from day 2:

#5: Enable marketing efficiency by stretching your marketing dollars, utilizing cross-media campaigns, and closing the gap on data analytics.

# 4: Embrace the viral effect of Refer-a-Friend. Incorporate this feature in your online campaigns and help make your marketing work for you.

# 3: Companies using social media without a strategy are likely to fail.  Innovation needs to drive this strategy.

# 2: Loyal customers are not always satisfied customers.  Ensuring your customers are satisfied requires hard work, constant attention, and consistent delivery of outstanding service.

# 1: Data is king.  Businesses that value customer data management and actively use customer data to build more meaningful customer experiences achieve higher revenue, higher ROI, and a competitive advantage.

I’ve got some great photos and video clips from the conference.  I’m heading home from Chicago and will be posting them on the Customer Connections blog later in the week.
